Easy Rider

“There goes Ezy, Ezy Rider, ridin' down the highway of desire.” - Jimi Hendrix

A root melody of Indian sarsaparilla and sassafras is tied together with Wild Jungle Green Pu-erh tea and a pinch of birch bark.

This blend was named after founders Eric and Jessica's easy going first child Rider, and the flavor will remind the palate of a cold pint of root beer with a pleasant fruity acidity. Making a full-bodied kombucha with hints of vanilla, cacao, anise, and cigar smoke, this is a simple-to-brew but complex 'buch that will quickly become one of your go-to blends.

Quantities available:
  • 17 grams (1 x 1 gallon brew)
  • 34 grams (2 x 1 gallon brews)
  • 68 grams (4 x 1 gallon brews)
  • 102 grams (6 x 1 gallon brews)

Great flavor Review by Matthew
How do you rate this product?
Easy Rider fermented slightly faster than most batches, and carbonated very well with a little supplemental sugar at bottling. Unique flavor, with hints of wintergreen and other mild spice and flavor. No need to add juice flavoring with this one!

One of my favorites!!! (Posted on 11/2/2016)
Great tea - Odd kombucha balanceReview by Jill
How do you rate this product?
This tea is unique and delicious on its own. The licorice root and root beer smells and tastes great as tea. In kombucha the flavor was incongruous to the vinegar balance of the brew. It was unique but always tasted a bit off to me. (Posted on 10/26/2016)
A Winner! Review by Laura

If you like root beer you will Love this blend! Even my husband, who has turned up his nose at all my previous batches of kombucha, likes this one. (Posted on 10/5/2016)
